Ten in the Bed

Ten in the Bed

I have heard this played mostly with one chord E or G (or what ever works for your voice).

I added a little to it to give it a little more jump.

G with alternating bass E to G
There were ten in a bed
And the little one said,

C
“I’m crowded! Roll over!”

G
So they all rolled over

Walk the bass up E F# G
And one fell out

There were nine in the bed
And the little one said,
“I’m crowded! Roll over!”
So they all rolled over
And one fell out…

(Count down to one)

There was one in the bed
And the little one said,
“I’m lonely! I’m lonely!”
So they all rolled over

And got back in

There were ten in the bed
And the little one said,

C                          G
“Good night! Sleep tight!”

Cheers!!…PapoJims
